DOMINIQUE BAUME

Women’s Health Specialist General Practitioner

Dr. Dominique Baume graduated in 2013 from the University of Adelaide and completed her fellowship in general practice in 2018 with commendation. Since this time, she has worked extensively in the field of women's health and completed her certificate of sexual and reproductive health in 2019. Dominique spent a year working at Jean Hailes clinic in Victoria, with a particular focus on perimenopause/menopause management, and also works at SHINE SA. 

Dominique is passionate about empowering women to better understand and manage their health needs, from puberty to older age.  She is experienced in Implanon insertion/removal and IUD insertion/removal, and is a member of the Australian Menopause Society. 

Outside of work Dominique is kept busy with her two young children and an active kelpie. She is an avid podcaster and loves time spent baking, hiking or at the beach.
