JESSICA FLOREANI

Women’s Health Specialist General Practitioner and Director of AWARE Women’s Health

Dr Jessica Floreani is an Adelaide-based GP and specialist women’s health practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care across every stage of life. With over 15 years of experience in sexual and reproductive health, Jessica combines deep clinical expertise with a warm, approachable style that helps patients feel informed, supported, and empowered in their healthcare decisions.

Jessica completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Flinders University in 2005, following a Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science) at the University of Adelaide. She went on to obtain her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2010 and has a Diploma in Child Health and a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health.

Her long-standing commitment to reproductive health has shaped a career rich in both clinical practice and medical education. Jessica worked with SHINE SA from 2011-2025 in roles spanning clinical care, registrar supervision, and medical education. As the previous LARC (Long-Acting Reversible Contraception) Coordinator and an IUD and Implanon Master Trainer, she has played a key role in developing and delivering training programs for clinicians across South Australia.

At AWARE Women’s Health Jessica focuses on providing personalised, holistic care in areas such as contraception, menopause, menstrual concerns, fertility and general women’s health. Jessica inserts and removes IUDs and contraceptive implants and is an MS-2 step provider. Jessica also provides fertility treatment a Flinders Fertility, working closely with individuals and couples to create personalised plans that feel supportive, transparent and realistic. She is passionate about helping patients understand their options and feel confident in their choices, whether they are navigating adolescence, reproductive years, or menopause.

In addition to her clinical and teaching roles, Jessica serves as the SA/NT Representative on the board of the Australasian Menopause Society, reflecting her commitment to advancing high-quality menopause care and supporting clinicians in this evolving field.

Jessica’s practice is grounded in kindness, clarity, and a genuine enthusiasm for women’s health. She values building long-term relationships with her patients and is dedicated to ensuring they receive thoughtful, comprehensive care throughout their lives.
